World-renowned Greek composer Yanni has dedicated a track to the people of Syria.
In a Facebook post this week, the musician writes: “This is for all my Syrian and Kurdish friends!… May peace come to all of you very soon! I have seen and felt your strength and I believe it is inevitable!”
The track is called Almost a Whisper (Selena’s Theme).
Yanni, born Yiannis Chryssomallis, is one of Greece’s best-known performers.
