The Foreign Affairs Ministry of Venezuela announced on Wednesday that it will work together with the Greek government to strengthen cooperation and deepen solidarity between the two countries.
Greece’s Foreign Ministry Secretary General for International Economic Relations and Development Cooperation Giorgos Tsipras arrived in Venezuela on Tuesday, July 28, on a visit that will last until Saturday, August 1.
According to a relevant announcement released by the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry, the Greek official has already met with Venezuelan vice Minister of Economic Cooperation Calixto Ortega while other sources said that Tsipras has also discussed with Deputy Foreign Minister for Europe Ramón Gordils.
Several other meetings with high-level government officials will also take place over the next few days, focusing on the promotion of bilateral economic relations, especially in the energy sector.
