Greek tastes are going to visit Malaysia through the 12th Tastes of Europe Fest. It is organized by the EU-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EUMCCI) and will take place at the hotel The Royale Chulan Kuala Lumpur in the capital Kuala Lumpur on May 30.
The Greek Community in Malaysia participates for the third consecutive year in the festival and the visitors will have the opportunity to taste a large variety of Greek wines, ouzo, tsipouro, olives, olive oil, honey, jams, feta cheese, as well as ntolmadakia (stuffed vine leaves) and giant beans.
In the festival there will also be products from Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
The 12th edition of this annual event organized by EUMCCI, together with the European Bilateral Chambers of Commerce and Business Councils, provides companies the opportunity to showcase products and get in contact with European and local guests, from the diplomatic and business community, while enjoying a good glass of European wine, beer, cheese and other European delicacies, as reported in EUMCCI’s website.
Aptly named the Tastes of Europe Fest, all companies are given the opportunity to promote their products by presenting samples to an estimated 500 participants, according to EUMCCI’s website. In the framework of the festival, there will be an Ouzo Appreciation Workshop, an educational workshop aiming at acquiring more exhibitors and participants that will be held right before the Main Event.
