Goody’s and Flocafe Open In Libya

vivartiaTwo staples for Greeks in the fastfood and coffee industry, Goody’s and Flocafe are going to open branches in Libya. Goody’s-Everest group signed an agreement with the Libyan company Tasty Franchise for the development the Greek businesses.

The deal provides the operation of 10 Goody’s restaurants and 10 Flocafé stores in all major cities of the country, while the first stores of both chains are expected to have opened by summer.

This agreement is part of the business expansion of Goody’s-Everest and already includes agreements for the development of its brands in Albania, Montenegro, Kosovo, Macedonia, Belarus, United Arab Emirates, as well as the operation of more than 20 branches in Cyprus, Albania, Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary.

The CEO of Vivartia,  Giannis Artinos said: “The group, after the new stores in the markets of Balkans and Northern Europe, is now making his first step in the developing market of North Africa as well. The new agreement with Tasty Franchise Ltd for 20 new stores, adds one more country to the Group’s portfolio, targeting 7 million new consumers to whom we will have the opportunity to offer our products and services.”
