The International Society of Friends of Nikos Kazantzakis is going to organize several commemorating events throughout 2013, to celebrate the 25 years of its founding, in the 116 countries where it works to promote the work of the renowned late Greek writer.
ISFNK has organized hundreds of events in the last 25 years and it Le Regard Cretoi (Cretan glance). The work of the society, will be presented at the International Book Fair which will be held the next May in Thessaloniki, under the title 25 Years of Dedication to Kazantzakis’ Work.
The report is divided into nine sections and presents ISFNK’s action (conferences, workshops and literary competitions in universities abroad, presentations, publications, journeys, music performances, theatrical performances and a screening of Kazantzakis Museum).
During 2013 ISFNK has organized a series of conferences in many countries such South Korea, China, Shanghai, Chile, USA, Mexico and many European countries. The group is also going to participate in the international conference organized by Kazantzakis publications in February in London.
