China Shows Us Glamorous Greece

Chinese TV network CCTV9, which broadcasts only documentaries, in a co-production with ERT, will host Glamorous Greece, a tribute to Greek culture and tourism in a film featuring archaeological sites and museums in Greece.

This tribute, which will promote Greece, consists of four 45-minute episodes in Chinese and English. The shooting that will take place from mid-November to mid-December, will focus on the most important monuments of Attica, Argolis and Heraklion, the Meteora monasteries, Knossos, as well as the National Archaeological Museum, the Archaeological Museum of Heraklion and the Panathenaic Stadium.

There will also be a series of interviews with prominent Greeks, such as dancer, choreographer and director Dimitris Papaioannou, and Tatiana Averoff, President of the  Evangelos Averoff-Tossizza Foundation, and Manager of the Evangelos Averoff Art Gallery in Metsovo, Also, a fisherman, winemaker and a sculptor will be interviewed.
