Greek Consul General in Shanghai Cites Opportunities

The Consul General of Greece in Shanghai, Evgenios Kalpyris, was among main speakers of a seminar held on Overseas Mergers and Acquisitions, and Corporate Citizenship and used his chance to call on Chinese business executives to support his homeland as it struggles through a harsh economic crisis.

“Please be patient and tolerant that Greece will get better and better,” he said, adding that the Greek government is making significant efforts  to decrease the country’s debt and  attract investors to give a boost to Greece’s economy. He stressed that the crisis has created opportunities as well for international investors. The seminar was held on August 4 at Fudan University.
