Chairman of the Arab-Greek Chamber of Commerce and Development Christos Folias on Tuesday made a proposal to Kuwaiti entrepreneurs to invest in Greece, saying that the financial crisis in his country resulted in some lucrative opportunities.
Addressing a meeting with representatives of Kuwait Chamber of Industry and Commerce and 20 Greek Companies, Folias assured attendees about his government keenness on offering all needed facilities for incoming Kuwaiti businessmen.
On his part, the deputy chairman of the Kuwaiti chamber, Abdul Wahab Al-Wazzan, called for greater efforts to elevate the level of commercial ties between the two countries.
Al-Wazzan expressed readiness to help in cementing the economic ties and briefed the Greek guests about the national development strategy that stipulates construction of new residential districts, ports,rehabilitation of islands, oil fields and communication and transport sectors.
