Greek Construction Firm Wins 138 Million Euro Contracts in Gulf States

Athens-based GEK TERNA won new projects in Qatar and Bahrain worth a total of 138 million euros.

The Greek company’s subsidiary TERNA S.A., announced in a statement that the new projects include building a multi-storey car park in Doha for Qatar Foundation in a deal worth 114 million euros and a 10-storey car park with the capacity for 1,400 vehicles worth 24 million euros in Bahrain for Bahrain Financial Harbour Holding Company. The latter project also includes the design of dining areas on the top floor.

The first project is scheduled to be completed by September 2013, while the second one is planned to be ready October 2013.
