Greece’s Deputy Foreign Minister Spyros Kouvelis’s official visit to Cairo will take place from May 18th – 20th. The trip coincides with the Greek-Egyptian business forum on May 19th. The forum will take place at the European Federation of Enterprises and Mr. Kouvelis will be accompanied by members of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV).
According to the Greek Ambassador in Egypt, Mr. Christodoulos Lazaris, this forum is one of the largest taking place in Egypt since the uprising of January 25th, and has great significance for both countries.
About 20 Greek businessmen and 50 Greek investors active in Egypt will be present, increasing the number of participants up to 130. Their objective is to look for new ways of boosting cooperation with Egyptian companies.
Meanwhile, Mr. Kouvelis will meet the Egyptian Ministers for Transport and Oil, as well as the Deputy Ministers for Economy, Trade and Industry.
