Foreign Minister Droutsas Conducts Meetings in Cairo

The Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dimitris Droutsas is visiting Cairo today to meet with Egyptian political leaders. Mr. Droutsas will be received by the Egyptian Prime Minister, Essam Sharaf and Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa, among others.
Minister Droutsas arrived at the Cairo airport at 11:00 Greek standard time, accompanied by the Secretary General of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Ioannis Alexios Zeppos.
According to official sources, Mr. Droutsas will also meet with his Egyptian Counterpart, Nabil el-Arabi, to discuss the common interests of both countries and current developments.
In the afternoon, Mr. Droutsas will be meeting with the Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, Theodore II and the President of the Greek community in Cairo Mr. Christos Kavalis.
