The Greek embassy in Tunisia is in contact with Greeks in the region. They have not reported any problems, a Foreign Ministry statement claimed, with regard to the explosive situation in the northern African country.
The Ministry noted that it will continue to keep close watch over the development of the situation in Tunisia. A state of emergency has now been declared, including a ban on gatherings of more than three people and a curfew.
