Somali Pirates Release Hijaked Greek Cargo Ship

The Somali pirates have released the hijacked Greek cargo ship with 12 Ukrainians onboard. The operator announced on Sunday evening that the ship captain contacted the company and said everyone was alright.  There were no pirates on the ship and the vessel was sailing to India, AFP reports.
The pirates attacked the ship about 900 miles off the Somali coast. Currently there is no information available as to what led to the release. The ship is loaded with metal fixture and cables.
