Greece is known worldwide for its products and unique traditional food recipes. Through numerous business ventures, Greek businessmen have been trying to extend their activities in other countries opening doors to several markets across the world, including the market in the Middle East.
On Monday, November 23, a Greek deli-café, called Little Greece, opened in Dubai, a first for the United Arab Emirates. The Deli Store and Café is located at Barsha Mall in Dubai.
The store’s owners wish for their customers to have a full Greek experience therefore most products are imported from Greece, for example the organic oranges used for the authentic Orange cake. Furthermore, the deli offers iced cappuccino, with a complementary loukoumi in various flavors such as lemon or pistachio.
Furthermore, the gourmet deli also offers a great variety of traditional Greek products such as organic thyme, honey, olive oil, olives, saffron (Krokos), Mastiha, a great wealth of herbs, both fresh and dried, avgotaraho (Greek caviar) and many more healthy natural products.
