Greek Investors Take On Nairobi

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAThe first Investment and Greek Business Mission in Nairobi is taking place Sept. 14-19 organized at the initiative of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Kenya in Greece.

The mission is headed by the deputy Minister of Development and Competitiveness Athanasios Skordas and with the participation of 56 businessmen from sectors of bilateral interest, such as energy, infrastructure, constructions, health, agricultural products etc.

The agenda has scheduled business meetings throughout the visit as well as visiting Kenyan businesses to meet with representatives to discuss investment ideas.

Skordas will meet with representatives of the Greek community in Kenya and with Archbishop Makarios III. Kenya is a country with stable growth rates above 4% over the recent years and it has a strategic role in the development of the entire African continent.
