President Papoulias Meets Cairo’s Greeks

Greek President Karolos Papoulias met with delegates of the Greek Egyptian community of Cairo during an official luncheon organized at the Greek Embassy premises in the capital of the country.

The delegation, headed the President of the Greek Community of Cairo, Christos Kavalis, informed the Greek President of all the issues concerning the community and expressed its hopes that Greece and its people will make it out of the crisis soon.

Papoulias commented on his meeting with his Egyptian counterpart Mohamed Morsi, who gave his  support and appreciation toward the Greek community there, which he said is working hard to strengthen the bilateral relations between Egypt and Greece.

Papoulias additionally expressed his belief that the Greek government will be able to further and support the Greek-Egyptian Community once the recession and economic crisis plaguing Greece comes to an end.
