They are risking their lives to escort commercial vessels which are moving through the most dangerous waters of the Indian Ocean. Armed to the teeth, they take a firing position every time that the Somali pirates in the Gulf of Aden are preparing for Resalto. The Greek mercenaries risk their lives in order to protect their boats from hostage.

Each of their missions, is priced from $50,000 up to $100,000, depending on whether it is a military or simple protection.  The wage for each mercenary ranges  from $500 to $ 1,000 a day. The LV, a former Navy officer, and the companies that control the protection and the safe passage of the ships on behalf of the shipping companies have their headquarters in England and America.

The shipping company calls on its representatives asking them to protect ships for as many days needed from the coastal waters of Somalia. The representative shall be a staff of a team of five or six trusted persons skilled in piracy.
