Εnthronement of New Metropolitan Bishop of Ioannoupolis & Pretoria

On Sunday, December 12^th, 2010, the enthronement ceremony of the new Metropolitan Bishop of Ioannoupolis and Pretoria Damaskinos, was held in Johannesburg.  The ceremony was attended by the Pope, the Patriarch of Alexandria and all Africa, Theodoros II, the Metropolitan Bishops, Alexandros of Nigeria, Sergios of the Cape of Good Hope, Ioakeim of Zambia, Gregorios of Cameroon, Bishop of Mozambique, Ioannis, Bishop of Mareotis, Gabriel, the Archbishop of Alexandria, government representatives of Gauteng city and the heads of Greek organizations.
