A group photo exhibition by the Alexandrian photo group Antassa opened on November 1st. It consists of sixty color photos by thirty young photographers of Alexandria. Both professionals and amateurs are participating. The exhibition presents images of monuments, places, sculptures and other visual material demonstrating the continuous presence of the Greek element in Alexandria.
Observers will have the chance to get acquainted with the different ways young Egyptians focus on several themes. The exhibition offers a glance into the past and traces the elements which have contributed to the city’s heterogenous stratification. The photos correspond to the need for a creative contemporary intercultural dialogue.
HFC’s Branch in Alexandria holds the exhibition. It runs from November 1-24th.
