The Niarchos Public Benefit Foundation has assumed the financing of the construction of the Church Museum and Ambry of the Patriarchate of Alexandria, it was announced on Monday.
The Patriarchate expressed its satisfaction with the development, since the facility will display the history of the Church of Alexandria since the time of its founder, the Apostle Mark the Evangelist, during the Ptolemaic era, the Christian years, up until the era and contribution of the Greeks of Egypt.
Patriarch Theodoros II of Alexandria on Monday signed the acceptance of the Foundation’s donation.
