In an exhibition organised by the Hellenic Foundation for Culture (HFC), is presenting works by the F-14 Photographers’ Commune in Alexandria, Egypt, depicting the most important archaeological sites of Macedonia, such as Dion, Vergina, Pella, Olynthos, Samothrace, Phillipi, Thassos and Thessaloniki. The exhibition is being held under the auspices of the World Council of Hellenes Abroad (SAE).
The Director of the HFC Branch in Alexandria, Manolis Maragoulis, referring to the photographs of the exhibition says that they present “the contemporary glances of many artists”. The show has been organised within the framework of the parallel events for the 3-day celebration of the 100 years of Zervoudaki’s building, where the Averof High School is housed today.
The exhibition presents works by the photographers Alexandra Tsironi, Yiannis Papadopoulos, Spyros Markoyiannis, Fotis Paleologos, Tassos Souparis, Olga Papadopoulou, Marianna Bazaka and others.
