Lagos — In what is suspected to be a suicide, a male foreigner, Anastasios Kaltais, from Greece has jumped down from the second floor of a five storey building in Lagos and sustained severe injuries, which later resulted to his death hours later.
The incident occurred at about 5 a.m. at the weekend at Plot 1 Coker Court, Cowry Close off Idejo Street, Victoria Island residence of the 38-year-old man.
The motive behind his action is yet to be established as no suicide note has been recovered even as the police in Victoria Island Division have commenced investigation into the incident.
It was gathered that after the jump, the deceased was rushed to the Lagos Island General Hospital where he eventually died.
